IMPORTANT - TARIFFS ON ORDERS TO THE USA:

 

Please be aware that all orders being shipped to the USA are subject to a 10% tariff on the total cost of the order - this includes the shipping charges.  Unfortunately, this is outside of my control.

 

The tariff is a tax imposed by the U.S. Government on imported goods.  As the importer, you are responsible for paying these tariffs, which will be added to the final cost of your purchase.

Paying the tariff during the checkout process ensures that your parcel will be sent as 'Postal Delivered Duties Paid' and means you should not be subjected to further import taxes on receiving your goods.

 

 

Shipping and Delivery

 

All orders will be sent using Royal Mail.

 

All orders will be sent using a trackable service with the appropriate level of compensation cover for the contents.

 

Postage costs are calculated based on the weight and value of the contents.

 

For U.K. orders, there are two options for postage - Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service, which provides compensation up to £75.00, and Royal Mail's Special Delivery service, which provides compensation up to £750.  The Tracked 48 service offers a less expensive postage option but please note that if you select this option and your parcel gets lost in transit, I shall not be liable for any compensation over and above either the cost of your order or £75, whichever is the lower.

 

For European and International orders (including USA, Australia and Canada), these will be sent via Royal Mail's International Tracked service (destination permitting).  This offers a fully trackable service for your order and provides compensation for the full amount of your order, should it go missing in transit.

 

VAT is NOT included in my prices but the tariff charge for orders to the USA will appear alongside the heading 'VAT' at checkout as there is no option for me to change this heading.

 

Please note that since the U.K. left the European Union, orders being sent outside of the U.K. may be subject to additional local charges by the postal delivery service or the customs department of the destination country. These charges are outside of my control and are the responsibility of the buyer - they are NOT included in the cost of the order you place with Bee Croft.

The Post Office here in Fair Isle is only open 3 mornings a week, but I aim to post orders on Mondays and Fridays. Due to the geographical location of Fair Isle, mail gets sent out with either the plane or boat, both of which can be frequently delayed by adverse weather and/or sea conditions. As such, please be aware that I cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date.
